Silo, a dystopian series on Apple TV+, has now ended with that cliffhanger finale of Season 2 to set everyone talking about the possibilities that lie ahead in Season 3. Season 2 ended with a cliffhanger: Juliette Nichols (Rebecca Ferguson) and Bernard (Tim Robbins) were trapped in an airlock engulfed in flames. Juliette’s desperate return to Silo 18, armed with the knowledge to prevent the silo’s collapse, was cut short, leaving viewers wondering what happened to her. Meanwhile, Silo 18 citizens, who are inspired by Juliette’s defiance, are inching closer to rebellion without knowing the dangers outside.

According to various reports, season 3 will extensively explore the mysteries of silos. Showrunner Graham Yost revealed dual timelines that possibly showed life before the creation of silos and events in the present of 17 and 18. The new characters, among them a congressman and a reporter, add flavor to the origins of the underground system.

Production for Season 3 is already in the works, and viewers won’t have to wait too long to see how the story plays out. Scripts were finalized ahead of industry strikes, so the production process will be seamless. It is expected to come out tentatively in early 2026.
