Senior Superintendents of Police (SP) and Assistant Commissioners were deployed across all the centers for the security of the examination process to ensure it was botheration-free.

Mahboob Ali and Qaiser Ali topped the list with 194 marks in the KMU MDCAT test. As many as 24,518 have been qualified for BDS, while as many as 21,355 have been declared eligible for the MBBS course. Similarly, the university has also announced that 38 candidates received above 190 marks, while as many as 658 students could not appear in the test.

MDCAT remains the gateway to medical and dental colleges for a vast majority of aspirant students in Pakistan. The passing percentage this time is quite high, an apparent reflection of grooming and well-directed effort by candidates and by structured management of the process of a test. Selected candidates shall be taken forward in the process of admission, and placements in medical and dental colleges are likely to be extremely competitive.

Moreover, with the declaration of the results by UHSL and KMU through MDCAT, all roads now lead to the next phases of medical education with the students finalizing their preferences and preparation for their future in the health sector.
