The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Murad Saeed is somebody who addressed members and supporters of the party lately when the party was going through a difficult time. The statements he gave were characterized by a sense of urgency and frustration as he highlighted the need for the base of PTI to stand united while referring to the political challenges they have been facing after Imran Khan was ousted.
He questioned vehemently the decisions taken in the past, especially the protests and unrest gripping the nation since April. He regretted the lost chances to take decisive action. “If we had stood firm on April 9, perhaps we wouldn’t be facing this situation today,” he regretted. He also expressed sorrow over the party’s handling of present-day turmoil and called for the hardcore supporters to stay steady on the leadership of Khan.
The PTI leader pointed out the sacrifices of millions of supporters who had faced violence and hardships in questioning the current doubts regarding Khan’s leadership and strategy. “The struggle we are all engaged in is unheard of in the history of our country. All power in the world is unanimous over one thing: without Imran Khan,” he said.
Again and again, Saeed spoke about how Khan would return only once it is proven that he is not a one-man phenomenon but an epitome of the movement and a vision for Pakistan. It’s not a mission of individual loyalty it is a collective struggle,” he declared, asking his supporters not to lose focus on the broader battle for their cause.
As the political situation gets scarred up in different ways, Saeed’s statement has acted as a rallying call for PTI activists to gear up for the challenges ahead.
