Pakistan has confirmed an unchanged XI for the third Test against England, which is to start on October 24 at Rawalpindi. The move will come after Pakistan easily outwished the visitors by 152 runs in the second Test that ended in Multan and brought the series 1-1.

The Pakistan Cricket Board announced the team in an official statement by keeping faith in the same players who delivered a superb all-round performance at Multan. The two wrist spinners, Nauman Ali and Sajid Khan were the ones responsible for dismantling the England batting lineup and playing important roles in their teams.

Management, before the Rawalpindi Test, has instructed the pitch curators to prepare a surface that favors spin, like Multan. The traditionally batting-friendly track of Rawalpindi is going to be altered by pedestal fans and heaters drying it out and making it spin-friendly.

What’s been great about the series so far is the way it’s been a challenge that at one point has been threatening to go either way, especially since England demolished the first Test by winning it by an innings and 47 runs, and Pakistan responded well by dominating the second Test. So, the third Test is going to be a great decider as both teams vie for series supremacy.

The unchanged XI for Pakistan includes some indispensable players. These consist of captain Shan Masood, vice-captain Saud Shakeel, and wicketkeeper Mohammad Rizwan. They will depend on their spin attack to win the series in Rawalpindi.
