As a show of appreciation for World Kindness Day on November 13, Krispy Kreme Doughnuts will be giving away free doughnuts to the first 500 guests at participating locations across the U.S. No purchase is required. However, customers are advised to arrive early since supplies only last for the first 500 guests in each store or drive-thru.
In this giveaway, Krispy Kreme is putting a new spin on this to inspire small acts of kindness and generosity. “World Kindness Day is a reminder that we can all make a positive impact in people’s lives, including through small gestures like sharing a sweet treat,” Krispy Kreme Global Chief Brand Officer Dave Skena said. “We hope that with every six Original Glazed we hand out, it’ll inspire and equip thousands of small acts of kindness.”.
Stores in over 40 countries will be engaging in some kind of gesture on World Kindness Day, with many also hosting similar events or giveaways. In addition to the in-store free dozen, the company has also encouraged guests to share their experience with a complimentary dozen on social media using the hashtag #KrispyKreme and tagging @krispykreme.
To go along with this, Krispy Kreme also recently unveiled a seasonal series of Thanksgiving-themed doughnuts. These consist of the Apple Crumble Doughnut, filled with apple pie filling and topped with buttercream and cinnamon cookie crumbs, and the Blueberry Crisp Doughnut, with its blueberry filling, topped with a streusel. Other seasonal flavors are the lemon creme pie doughnut and the chocolate silk pie doughnut, served throughout Thanksgiving.
Krispy Kreme celebrates World Kindness Day, an event that brings joy and gives away free holiday treats in a bid to spread happiness as customers kick-start the season of giving.
