The Recording Academy and CBS plan to present Christmas With Andrea Bocelli and Friends: A Grammy Holiday Special, which airs on Christmas Eve, Tuesday, Dec. 24, at 8 p.m. ET/PT, on CBS, and will be live-streamed and on-demand via the service Paramount+.
The celebrated Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli will headline the show alongside a stellar lineup of guest performers, including Grammy winners Jennifer Hudson and Dua Lipa, as well as Josh Groban, singer-actress Sofia Carson, and Bocelli’s wife and daughter, Veronica and Virginia Bocelli. The performances promise to be a heartwarming celebration of the holiday season.
This takes place at the same time Bocelli’s compilation album, Duets: 30th Anniversary, releases, in which Lipa and Carson are two guest artists. The album just went on top of Billboard’s Classical Albums chart, therefore bolstering Bocelli’s brilliant career in the art of classical crossover music.
The special, which was produced by Ken Ehrlich Productions in association with Andrea Bocelli Management, was described as a family-friendly holiday showcase. The excitement to share this special comes from Harvey Mason Jr., who is the CEO of the Recording Academy. “This special not only celebrates the holidays but also honors one of music’s greatest voices.”
Bocelli thanked and said, “It is a joy to share this Christmas special with friends, family, and fans. I look forward to bringing this festive spirit to homes around the world.”.
The special will be the holiday classics no one can forget, so it will be the best way to bring families together to celebrate the season. Paramount+ subscribers can live-stream the event via their local CBS feed or watch on-demand the following day.
So sit back as the holiday hustle winds down and let Andrea Bocelli and his talented friends fill your home with the magic of Christmas.
