Billy Strings, the Grammy-winning Bluegrass sensation, is returning to Lexington’s Rupp Arena for two electrifying concerts on June 20 and 21. After a sold-out run in 2024, Strings is prepared to come back with the same energy and artistry for fans waiting for him in Kentucky.
Tickets to the highly anticipated shows go on sale at 10 a.m. on January 10 via Ticketmaster or in person at the Central Bank Center Box Office, open Wednesdays and Fridays from noon to 4 p.m. Fans can also sign up for presale access starting January 8 at billystrings.com/tour.
The concerts will celebrate Strings’ latest album, Highway Prayers, which just debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s all-genre Top Album Sales chart last fall. It was the first Bluegrass album to reach No. 1 in over two decades.
Billy Strings is known for his electrifying live performances. He won many accolades, from Grammys for Best Bluegrass Album to Americana and International Bluegrass Music Awards, multiple times. His recent tours in this country have sold out arenas and amphitheaters, establishing him as a leader in today’s Bluegrass music landscape.
The Rupp Arena shows are part of Strings’ 2025 Spring/Summer tour, which spans the South, Midwest, and beyond. Starting in Denver on January 24, the tour will make its way to Nashville, Atlanta, and St. Louis before ending up in Lexington.
Fans eagerly await the opportunity to be able to hear the incredible mesh of classic Bluegrass with genre-pushing ingenuity from Strings. The intimate venues rather than giant stadiums he is playing in ensure a meaningful connection between himself and the audience at each performance.
Ticket demand will be high; so book them well in advance for what will no doubt be another performance of legendary quality from Billy Strings.
