Chelsea Lazkani, one of the main casts on Netflix‘s popular reality series “Selling Sunset,” has filed for divorce from her husband, Jeff Lazkani, after a drama-filled season accused one of them of being unfaithful. The parents of Maddox Ali Lavon Lazkani and Melia Iman Lazkani jointly decided to get a divorce after a marriage that saw them through various ups and downs.
Infidelity Rumors Spark Drama on “Selling Sunset”
Below the line: Season 8 of “Selling Sunset” sank deep into the personal struggles of Chelsea Lazkani. Fellow cast member Bre Tiesi dropped a bomb when she told everyone that one rumor going around was about how Chelsea’s husband, Jeff, had been spotted kissing another girl at the W Hotel in Hollywood. That bombshell dropped during the third episode and sent ripples throughout the Oppenheim Group, leaving Chelsea dealing with a possible betrayal.
Of course, Chelsea was emotionally weighed down throughout the season, but she questioned how Bre could air such sensitive information on camera. Chelsea Lazkani Files for Divorce in March 2024
Chelsea Lazkani took more serious measures in real life. She filed a divorce in March of 2024, citing irreconcilable differences. The court documents filed reflect that Chelsea is seeking joint custody of their two children, along with spousal support.
The divorce proceedings have not remained outside a controversy. Jeff Lazkani responded to the filing in April, with a request for divorce and leveling serious allegations against Chelsea. He accused her of assault, claiming she once hit him after an argument and destroyed some of his property. He continued to claim that some of his stuff began to disappear from their house and Chelsea had videotaped him without his consent. Jeff is asking for the Manhattan Beach house in the proceedings.
Chelsea’s Resilience Amidst Divorce
Of course, Chelsea wouldn’t let the emotional and legal setbacks get in the way. During a sit-down with Access Hollywood this May 2024, Chelsea revealed she was taking it up and down and was now in a good place. The realtor also thanked her “Selling Sunset” castmates Emma Hernan and Chrishell Stause for being strong pillars on her tough days-whom she described as her “best friends.”.
