Republican Representative Tim Burchett reported startling claims, one suggesting unidentified craft (Aliens) reportedly traveling at incredible speeds underwater.
Tim Burchett spoke on Matt Gaetz’s One America News show stating an admiral – whom he wouldn’t name – revealed many craft as big as a football field moving hundreds of miles an hour under the sea.
“This was a documented case,” Tim Burchett said, adding, “I have an admiral telling me this stuff.”
Known for his vocal belief that the U.S. government hides information about UFOs and extraterrestrial activity, Burchett said he was curious rather than concerned. “If they had malign intent, they would’ve done it much sooner,” he said, suggesting that the vast expanse of the cosmos increases the likelihood of extraterrestrial life.
The U.S. Congress has been increasing its focus on unidentified anomalous phenomena as a national security issue. The public is enamored with it, but the Pentagon says most UAP sightings are simply weather balloons or spy drones. A report in 2024 restated that there has been no evidence of extraterrestrial life.
Burchett doubts such claims. He called out government secrecy and said the classified sonar technology could be seeing these underwater events.
There is insufficient evidence to validate the assertions referred to, but nonetheless, these have taken hold of a public fancy. Video footage depicting unidentified cylindrical objects zipping away at mind-boggling speeds has enhanced the speculation surrounding these claims.
Yet Burchett insists that his organization wants more transparency regarding the investigations into UAPs, urging the government to be more open. “Americans deserve to know the truth,” he stated emphatically.
Even though the claim is treated with some skepticism by officials, it has rekindled the discussion concerning the existence of alien life and its consequences for humankind.
