Aaron Phypers, who married actress Denise Richards, is going through legal fights after being sued for apparent fraud and breach of contract. On November 13, 2024, he was sued by a man named Rupert Perry, claiming that Phypers breached his verbal agreement pertaining to treatments administered at his wellness center, Quantum 360 in Malibu.
According to court documents, Perry’s late wife, Elina Katsioula-Beall, sought cancer treatment at the center in 2023 after being diagnosed with Sarcoma in 2019. According to Perry, Phypers guaranteed the treatment had a 98% success rate and promised a 50% refund of the $126,000 cost if it failed to improve her condition.
She has suffered worsening illness since receiving several treatments from July to September of 2023; by December, it reportedly increased 25% in growing tumors. It claimed that Perry was never mailed an encumbrance demand to refund $63,000. That is what her lawsuit states she has to dispute in court. Multiple refund demands in early 2024 allegedly were also never met by Phypers.
Katsioula-Beall died in May 2024. In the complaint, Perry alleged that over the phone, Phypers admitted that he owed her the money but never made the return, and kept giving excuses.
The complaint is one of intentional misconduct against Phypers and seeks a jury trial, claiming his action caused undue hardship.
The case has yet to receive a response from Phypers, and the status of Quantum 360 is unknown. The wellness center is said to be closed, and the website and social media pages are inactive.
Richards has not made any comment on the allegations. She recently said that she was very happy about their marriage, and her husband was her best friend.
