Garth Brooks, the country music star, has hinted he will soon be leaving his Tennessee mansion and heading out with wife Trisha Yearwood to Ireland. Brooks made the hint in his most recent show in the Facebook Live series, “Inside Studio G”. Brooks says it’s at his wife’s nudging for him to pack up, this time to Ireland where the couple toured last year which, she “fell in love” with.
Said Brooks of the Queen: “The Queen is pushing hard for that house over there,” referencing the wife’s deepened bonding experience with Ireland after the past two weekends of shows in Dublin. In the same week, during which a secret accusation against Brooks about sexual assault would go public from an anonymous woman who had been a makeup artist on Yearwood’s shows, the couple sold their home for $3.34 million in Brentwood, TN.
The allegations were filed at the California Supreme Court in Los Angeles on October 3. Jane Roe is the accuser, who claims she had to undergo rape and assault in 2019. Brooks has been clear in his denial of these accusations and has termed them “threats and lies” aimed at extorting millions. He said, “For the last two months, I have been hassled to no end.”. with tragic tales of what my future would be if I didn’t write a check for many millions.”
Brooks and Yearwood, whose home had served as the set of Yearwood’s cooking show, sold it after price reductions. While Brooks has been so adamant in denying all the allegations, he conceded that he had taken to filing a lawsuit against the woman, accusing her of extortion and defamation.
Brooks concluded, “I trust the system, I do not fear the truth.” Whether the sale and potential move to Ireland signal a fresh start or a response to recent events remains unclear.
