It was reported that the 82-year-old star Harrison Ford of “Indiana Jones” asked the Los Angeles Police Department to check his property in Brentwood, California, amid citywide wildfires that are causing extensive damage. So far, the Palisades Fire that started earlier this week has consumed more than 1,000 homes and driven tens of thousands from their residences.
Ford was photographed Wednesday speaking with officers stationed near the evacuation zone. He arrived in his black Tesla, later accompanied by police to his $12.6 million property. Despite dire circumstances, the Oscar-nominated actor managed to share a smile or two with officers during their brief interaction.
Casual clothes, a T-shirt, and a black jacket-wore Ford, as he seemed pretty cool but bothered about his home. With the fires advancing, the key roads in this affluent neighborhood had to be closed by the LAPD to protect safety and bar unauthorized entry.
Nothing about Ford’s dwelling is well understood. There’s a rather more extensive and celebrated class now, like Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag or Paris Hilton. He said, as did so many others on Sunday, the wildfires had totaled out his house in Malibu.
California Gov. Gavin Newsom declared the entire state was an emergency to fully mobilize their resources as this fire also goes on along the Palisades Fire engulfing over 15,000 acres of the city.
In response to the disaster, several public figures have initiated relief efforts, with Bethenny Frankel being one of them. BStrong, Frankel’s charity, has been partnering with the Global Empowerment Mission to help the evacuees.
Currently, Los Angeles is experiencing this tragic crisis, and people like Ford are fully hopeful yet vigilant as the firefighters work hard to control the flames.
