The Zero Flip

Infinix officially enters the foldable smartphone market with its first device ever, the Zero Flip, a clamshell offering bearing a resemblance to Tecno Phantom V Flip2, recently launched and hopes to become a more future-oriented and versatile move geared toward user needs.

A 6.9-inch LTPO AMOLED main display enables FHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and an incredible 1,400 nits of peak brightness. It is accompanied by a 3.64-inch AMOLED cover display with 1056 x 1066 pixels in resolution, the same rate of 120Hz, and Corning Gorilla Glass 2 protecting it. The displays will render great visuals and silky-smooth interactions.

Camera enthusiasts will appreciate this setup in the Zero Flip, which houses dual cameras vertically stacked on the cover screen. The main camera is a 50 MP shooter, albeit OIS-enabled, and it’s accompanied by an ultra-wide 50 MP lens. Additionally, a 50 MP selfie shooter is easily hidden in a punch-hole cutout on the main screen for clear self-portraits. All three cameras do 4K video recording, making the product even more attractive for content creators. Special words are worth telling about the Zero Flip, which is easily integrated with GoPro cameras and allows the use of its main screen as a viewfinder for the camera.

Zero Flip measures 16 mm in folded height and 7.6 mm in its open position. It also offers a zero-gap hinge that closes the device entirely flat. The hinge mechanism can prop up the phone at an angle that ranges between 30 and 150 degrees, thus perfectly for hands-free video calls or photography.

Under the hood, Infinix Zero Flip runs on MediaTek Dimensity 8020 chipset with 8GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. The device runs on XOS 14.5 based on Android 14, promising two major Android OS versions and three years of security updates from Infinix. The battery capacity remains at 4,720mAh with support for 70W fast charging via cable, making users more likely to top up their device in no time.
