Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff and his wife, Christen Harper, recently gave fans a look at their unforgettable summer wedding with never-before-seen photos. Christen Harper, 31, posted the intimate snaps on Instagram on Sunday, December 29, captioning the post: “Moments from my favorite day of 2024????.
The carousel featured black-and-white images of the couple posing together, Christen Harper walking down the aisle, signing their marriage license, and sharing a romantic dance at their reception. The June ceremony took place at the picturesque Ojai Valley Inn in Ojai, California.
Christen’s close friend and bridesmaid, Katie Austin, commented, “Unreal. What a weekend ❤️.” Jared Goff responded with three heartfelt red heart emojis, while Kristin Juszczyk, wife of NFL player Kyle Juszczyk, called Christen a “real-life princess.”
As reported by Christen in her Instagram post in August, the wedding celebrations started with a garden rehearsal dinner attended by family and friends. She described the evening as full of laughter, tears, and plenty of Hugo spritzes.
Jared Goff and Christen moved to Detroit in 2021, and Jared said he is enjoying life with the Lions. In an interview with Us Weekly in October, Christen mentioned that she quickly formed a tight-knit circle of players’ wives and girlfriends who help each other adjust to new cities and new challenges.
Under Jared’s tutelage, the Detroit Lions became one of the greatest teams in the league. The team is boasting a 14-2 record this season for their first Super Bowl championship.
