The tool is also adjustable: users can resize and move the browser window to prevent obstruction, creating a picture-in-picture effect for video tutorials or streaming.
Microsoft has stated that 88% of PC gamers use browsers while gaming, and of these, 40% very often search for tips or guides. This is the rationale behind the Game Assist browser, designed to meet these needs efficiently. It is available for both PC and mobile devices and can be pinned so the transparency and other settings can be adjusted, making it a more useful component for different gaming configurations.
This feature supports a growing list of popular games that includes such titles as Baldur’s Gate 3, Diablo IV, Fortnite, Minecraft, and League of Legends. Games outside this list are not contextual game-aware but remain compatible with the browser for general multitasking needs.
Game Assist is user-focused, allowing players to focus on gaming while still accessing all the essential tools and resources directly from the navigation menus. It continues to evolve into a perfect feature based on user feedback, increasing its capabilities and supported game roster in the future.
