The long-awaited NAMM 2025 trade show will return to Anaheim, opening Tuesday, January 21, through Sunday, January 26. Industry heavyweights Fender and Gibson will once again be well represented, but the event looks set to be one of the most innovative music gear displays while revitalizing its influence on the world’s music equipment market.
The event has already caused much buzz with several big-announcement titles. Third Man Hardware is marking the 10th anniversary of its Bumble Buzz pedal with an all-white, highly limited edition that’s housed in a special wooden box, complete with hand-numbered guitar picks and a bandana, available now through select retailers.
Verso Instruments has gained popularity with the new Verso Sine guitar. Handcrafted, the instrument provides a tactile Sine pad to adjust the height and volume of string-to-pickup mechanically. The guitar can also boast movable pickups for enhanced sound use and optional Lehle Expression, offering CV control, USB MIDI connectivity, and more.
Mesa/Boogie thrilled fans when it announced the return of its iconic ’90s Dual Rectifier amplifier. Launched first in 1991, this twin-channel amp is a hallmark of the grunge and hard rock scenes, as it revolutionized Mesa/Boogie’s brand and doubled its demand.
Bitwig has announced its first hardware product: Bitwig Connect 4/12. Beyond just an audio interface, the device is 4-in and 12-out and combines both CV and MIDI features, meaning to connect hardware, as well as audio, with any modern creator’s setup.
With such and more announcements throughout the week, NAMM 2025 holds promise to be an inspiring convention for musicians, creators, and music enthusiasts while underlining the tenacity and innovations of the industry. Stay tuned to the exciting updates by the convention still going on.
