Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has suggested a stern approach against the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, demanding its possible ban for repeated protests and disrupting other people’s lives. While speaking at a high-level meeting on Friday, the prime minister said that it is time to save the stability of the nation from further economic and social loss due to PTI-led protests.

The premier called out the PTI-led KP government for allegedly supporting the disruptions, accusing it of misusing public resources to back unlawful activities.
Federal Riot-Control Force will also be created that, with current training and equipment, will prevent all these protest occurrences in the future, as well as a separate forensic lab of federal will work in investigating these cases so the project for Islamabad Safe City will be modernized which they will ensure increased surveillance across the system.
Calling for accountability, Shehbaz Sharif stated that PTI’s actions have harmed the country’s peace and global reputation. “This is not a political party but a group of saboteurs,” he asserted.
Meanwhile, PTI leaders have denied the allegations, accusing the government of targeting its supporters and escalating tensions. They announced plans to file legal cases against government officials, alleging unjustified violence against their members during the recent protests.
Political differences due to the ongoing conflict have increased concerns about Pakistan’s stability in the coming months.
