Georgia Woman, The authorities in Clayton County, Georgia, are calling on the public to help find Markia Woods. This woman left her house on January 8 and later contacted the police to inform them that she was safe, but her whereabouts remain unknown, and the authorities are still trying to find her.
Police were called to a residence on the 900 block of Maple Leaf Ridge regarding a missing person report. Markia’s mother said that her daughter left home at about 8 a.m. this morning, taking her belongings and leaving a note saying she needed time to reflect on herself and heal, but promised to return someday.
Markia later reported to the authorities that she had traveled to Birmingham, Alabama by Greyhound bus and was safe. However, the Clayton County Police Department is physically searching for her to confirm her safety.
