South African cricketers Corbin Bosch and Rilee Rossouw have confirmed their participation in the most awaited Pakistan Super League (PSL) 10-player draft, set to take place on 11 January 2025 in Gwadar, Balochistan.

The 30-year-old is an impressive pace all-rounder who has recently established himself as a performer on the international platform. Against Pakistan, he made his debut for South Africa during the ODI series in South Africa with a match unbeaten 40 runs and claiming one wicket. The spotlight turned back towards him when, on his Test cricket maiden ball, Bosch dismissed Shan Masood in the first innings to achieve the status of just a few in the game’s history.

Bosch has done well in the global leagues of T20, most notably in the SA20 and Caribbean Premier League (CPL) and Mzansi Super League. Bosch makes the team valuable with versatility, having scored 321 runs and taken nine wickets in 19 games for CPL. He will be the 14th foreign player to register in the PSL 10 draft.

Rilee Rossouw, the gem of PSL, has also signed up for the draft. The two-time league champion with Quetta Gladiators and Multan Sultans, Rossouw has 2,015 runs in 84 matches with an average of 31.98 and a strike rate of 142.7. He is the most explosive batter in the league as he has two hundred and ten half-centuries in the league.

The PSL 10 draft has a phenomenal international lineup, including the names of England’s Jason Roy, Tom Curran, and David Willey, Bangladesh’s Shakib Al Hasan, and Australia’s Usman Khawaja.

For the first time, the player draft will take place in Balochistan. Lahore Qalandars will have the
first platinum pick, Karachi Kings the second, and Quetta Gladiators the third.
