“Talk Talk” remix by Charli XCX

Pop star Charli XCX releases a highly anticipated remix of her hit song “Talk Talk,” featuring guests Troye Sivan and a surprise feature from Dua Lipa. The remix, released on September 12 in celebration of Charli and Sivan’s upcoming Sweat Tour beginning in Detroit this Saturday, keeps the same vibe and energy as Talk Talk but gives it a sultry twist. Charli and Sivan really turn up the heat with lyrics detailing a steamy rendezvous. Troye Sivan croons of an intimate hotel meeting: “K, here’s the plan / I wanna fly you out to Amsterdam / I got a good hotel to f— you in,” while Charli chimes in, “We’re still obsessed like we just met / And when you f— me, it’s crazy.

Dua Lipa brings a multilingual flair to the remix, singing lines in both Spanish and French. She starts off with “Hay una fiesta en mi casa, vengan. Será muy divertido” (“There is a party at my house, come. It will be very fun”), and finally ends with a teasing remark in French, “J’ai perdu mon téléphone mais tu sais quoi? Ça valait la peine parce que c’était une soirée de fou, which can be translated to, “I lost my phone, but you know what? It was worth it because it was an insane party.”

The remix drops in with a teaser video across Charli, Sivan, and photographer Terrence O’Connor’s social media accounts, and just by the teaser alone, one can tell this track is going to be electric. Confirmation from Charli herself that Dua Lipa would feature on it and the internet when the rumor of a leak hit the internet, has left fans talking.

Along with the remix, Charli XCX also announced a deluxe version of her recent album Brat, out October 11. The reinterpretation will include three deluxe songs and a few remixes, including “Talk Talk” with Sivan.

With the close of “Brat” summer, Charli XCX is ready to take over “Brat” fall as she and Troye Sivan get ready to hit major arenas across North America, including stops at Madison Square Garden in New York City and L.A.’s Kia Forum.
