Bandai Namco has dropped some fantastic updates regarding Tekken 8. These include the long-awaited winter update and details on the second season. During The Game Awards 2024 on December 12, fans will know who the final character for the Year 1 Playable Character Pass will be.
This winter update comprises an advanced photo mode with better capabilities, new bonus levels in Fight Pass, and more character customization slots for gamers. Players will also see their characters featured on the main menu along with fan-created Tekken art in-game and in the commemorative 30th Anniversary Fight Pass.
Season 2, which will be released in the spring of 2025, promises a major game rebalance and system changes, as well as new moves for all playable characters. Bandai Namco also teased new DLC fighters, though it refused to provide any information. The teaser trailer displayed a red helicopter with a missile carrying a familiar lipstick and hinted at Anna Williams’s long-awaited return.
Moreover, the Tekken World Tour will begin during Season 2, providing competitive players with a new stage to demonstrate their skills. The tournament dates will soon be released.
Tekken 8 is scheduled for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. An extremely action-filled saga begins when Jin Kazama ventures deeper into finally ending the rule of Kazuya Mishima. Players are anxiously awaiting details about the updates to these features for this game.
