Firdous Jamal has lately revealed during an interview that he enjoys living a solo life since fighting cancer, this is mainly because now that he was a famous actor from television to theater stages to film due to such multiple characters from some highly successful projects for television, Jamal did not want the same emotional toll on family post his fight against cancer.

Speaking about this decision, the veteran actor said, “I left my family after I recovered from cancer because I didn’t want them to suffer because of me. Sometimes, you become the reason for others’ pain, and I didn’t want that. My children are now settled and doing well on their own.
